Final Plans and Specifications for the removal action planned for the Corporation Yard have been submitted to DTSC and incorporate DTSC and State Fire Marshal comments. The proposed work includes two of three removal actions from the July 18, 2014 Final Removal Action Workplan and will consist exclusively of hand digging eleven small areas of localized contamination, for a total removal of around 46 cubic yards of soil. It is anticipated that completion of work plans and issuance of a DTSC work notice will be completed in September with in ground work to begin in late September or early October.
