The second round of groundwater monitoring of RFS groundwater monitoring wells installed in Fall 2010 will occur the weeks of April 11 and April 18, 2011. Water levels and samples for chemical analysis will be collected by campus consultants. Work is expected to take a week and a half.
The March 25, 2011 workplan for groundwater monitoring was approved by DTSC on March 29, 2011. It is intended to provide wet season data to be used to complete site groundwater characterization to be completed in conjunction with data collected in Fall 2010 presented in the January 11, 2011 draft Technical Memorandum of Phase 1 Field Sampling Workplan groundwater monitoring results.
