Public Comment Period Extensions on Proposed Richmond Bay Campus Planning Documents

In November 2013 the University published two draft public comment planning documents for the proposed Richmond Bay Campus, the draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) and the draft Removal Action Workplan (Draft RAW).

In response to community requests, the deadlines for public comment on these documents has been extended to the following dates:

January 17, 2014 Draft RAW (see the DTSC Notice and November 26, 2013 email below for more information on accessing the Draft RAW document)

January 21, 2014 Draft EIR (see LBNL notice below)

Richmond Bay Campus Long Range Development Plan

Hello,

On November 15 the University of California made available the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Richmond Bay Campus Long Range Development Plan and announced a 60 day public comment period (a 45-day comment period is required) to end on January 13, 2014.

In response to community requests, the comment period has been extended an additional week and will now end at close of business on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.

The Draft EIR and related documents are available for review on-line at http://richmondbaycampus.lbl.gov/environmental_documents.html and in local public libraries: The main branch of the Richmond Public Library located at 325 Civic Center Plaza, in Richmond; The City of Berkeley Central Library at 2090 Kittredge in Berkeley; and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Main Library at One Cyclotron Road, Bldg. 50, Room 4034 in Berkeley.
