Environmental consultants for the Zeneca/Former Stauffer Chemical Site at Campus Bay will begin implementation of the Pre-Design Investigation Work Plan starting the week of July 6, 2020.
The work will involve collecting groundwater and soil vapor samples. The purpose of the work is to gather the necessary data needed to inform the final remedial design for soil vapor extraction, and in-situ groundwater treatment for VOCs and metals as described in the Lot 1, Lot 2, and Upland Portion of Lot 3 Feasibility Study/Remedial Action Plan. See the attached map below for location of sampling wells. Some of these wells are located on the RFS near building 478.
